81 Red Balloons started just over three years ago operating from a little gift shop in the picturesque North Hampshire village of Odiham. The shop – called Number 81 – sold, amongst other things, helium filled balloons for birthdays anniversaries etc.
Before long we started to sell our balloons in bunches, which made great table decorations, and from there an interest in the art of balloon decorating was sparked.
There was so much to learn but thankfully with the help of professional courses run by organisations like NABAS (National Association of Balloon Artists And Suppliers) and companies like the ever helpful GO International and Conwin we were soon building arches and making sculptures and decorating more and more events.
The structure of the company has changed a little over the last twelve months and has moved out of the High Street shop due to the ever increasing overheads that went with it and seen a few changes within the team but the ethos is still very much the same. We aim to provide imaginative, fun and affordable balloon decorations, sculptures and party supplies tailored to our customers individual requirements, and to make sure all of our customers big and small get the very best customer service.
