Telegram For Mrs Law

12th February 2006 5:39pm

You’re never too old to enjoy a good party or two, and what better reason to celebrate than reaching your 100th birthday and getting a card from The Queen!

We were happy to have been able to do a little bit to help Mrs Muriel Law celebrate her birthday by sending a bunch of balloons, as a gift from her grandson Steve, when she was taken out for a slap up meal, at the Royal Foresters in Ascot with 25 members of her family.

Mrs Law was born in Ealing and worked in Kensington as a nurse. She lived in Devon with her late husband Tom for 25 years but now she’s moved to Winterbourne Court in Bracknell to be closer to her daughter Pam, one of her 6 children. Along with Steve Mrs Law has 12 other Grandchildren, and 27 Great-Grandchildren, and not surprisingly lists one of her hobbies as babysitting, and puts her long life down to a glass of Sherry every day.

Mrs Law celebrated on her birthday, Jan 10th by having a second party at Winterbourne Court and everyone at 81 Red Balloons hopes she had a fantastic birthday and has many more to come.

A bunch of hearts makes a nice change from a bunch of flowers, they last much longer and there's no searching for a vase! :)
